Yes, you should.
But with great Air Fryer comes great efforts.
It’s definetly easy-to-use, but hard to get your complete meal prep. Let me help you with bullet points.
PROs -
- Less oil
- You can leave it on Timer
- No gas, means safer
- Motivation to cook
CONs -
- You have to clean it after cooking
- You need space dedicated for it
- You can’t stack your food item one on one while Air-frying (Paneer/Chicken)
It’s overall a good choice, but keep in mind that you should know the basics of cooking. It has helped me use less oil (I bought an air sprayer bottle separately). You have to spray oil, or else the food gets stuck to the base, and then you have to scratch it out. Since, the marinade boils down to the base, and it’s difficult to clean it. So, a thick marinade coating will help you with less cleaning.
Which Airfryer should you buy?
I would recommend Pigeon Air Fyer if you are on a budget. If you have a good budget, buy Philips. To avoid sipping the marinade to the bottom, I use this paper fryer; this also drastically reduces cleaning of the airfryer. It’s worth trying it. Philips salespeople would tell you that they use this star technology in their AirFryer. With star technology, you don’t have to flip your food for cooking from all sides; that’s a good benefit of buying a Philips Air Fryer with Star technology.
Keep trying; it will take you time to understand how to cook in the Air Fryer as it varies depending on the quantity of food too. 100g of chicken breast cooks in 6 minutes at 200 degrees, and 500g of chicken cooks in 14 minutes at 200 degrees. So, it varies, and you have to hit the correct spot, trying not to overcook your meal.
That’s all. Happy frying!
